New season of Hannah Montana
Premieres August 4 on Family Channel
Toronto, July 28, 2010 – A new home, new crushes and the final year of high school all await Miley Stewart in Hannah Montana Forever. Following a blockbuster debut on Disney Channel in the U.S. on July 11, the fourth season of the hit show premieres on Astral’s Family Channel on Wednesday, August 4 at 6 p.m. ET/PT.
After years of balancing her double life as international pop singer Hannah Montana and ordinary high school girl Miley Stewart, Hannah Montana Forever sees Miley begin to wonder what her life would be like without Hannah Montana. Robby Ray, Miley’s father, moves the family into a new home in Malibu and her best friend Lilly plus beloved horse Blue Jeans come along too. With pivotal decisions ahead of her, Miley enters her senior year of high school while Jackson and Robby Ray finally meet the girls of their dreams and Rico looks for entertaining new ways to thwart his nemesis Jackson.
In the first episode of the new season, “Sweet Home Hannah Montana,” the Stewarts move into their new ranch home. Miley and Lilly are aghast when they discover that Robby Ray has moved Miley's old bedroom furniture, complete with white bunk beds, pink walls, pink bedding, dolls, and stuffed unicorn, into their new space. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to befriend an obnoxious new kid, T.J., in order to get close to his beautiful cousin Siena who lives next door.
Hannah Montana Forever stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, Emily Osment as Miley's best friend and confidante Lilly Truscott, Jason Earles as older brother Jackson, Moises Arias as the Stewarts' nemesis Rico and Billy Ray Cyrus as Miley's father and Hannah's manager, Robby Ray Stewart. Hannah Montana Forever also features guest star appearances from actors and artists including Ray Liotta, Christine Taylor and Sheryl Crow.
Leading up to the premiere of Hannah Montana Forever, Family Channel will run a Hannah Montana marathon featuring some of the series' best moments including best Lilly moment, best Oliver moment, best Rico moment, best Jackson moment, best outrageous outfit and best wig malfunction. The marathon begins at 3 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, August 4.
